Physical therapist: We are looking to expand our current PT team. We have an excellent clientele and a positive work environment. At Edge, we offer one-on-one appointments with the physical therapist (no aides or assistants), with 45 minute follow up treatment sessions and 60 minute initial evaluations. We support continuing education with a generous continuing education paid benefit, as well as embrace the opportunity to start new programs, if desired. Part time Front Office Coordinator: Goal hours around 20/week. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, checking patients in/out, scheduling current and new patients, answering phones, data entry, working with insurance companies and front office/billing team, scanning/faxing, laundry and light cleaning. Previous experience in a front office role in a medical clinic is preferred but not required. Great positive team environment. Medical Billing Specialist: Flexibility for either a part time or full time position as our medical billing specialist. Experience in medical billing is preferred but not required, especially with physical therapy billing and our current Advanced MD billing software. Specific responsibilities include auditing, processing and submitting claims (electronic and paper), posting both paper and electronic payments, working on A/R and any rejected or denied claims in a timely manner, completing insurance verifications for all new patients, updating insurance information in EMR software, overseeing clinic authorizations (obtain, track and manage), assist with customer service patient phone calls regarding billing concerns or questions, and once a month, preparing patient statements for Edge. Additional tasks may include processing records requests as well as assisting with provider credentialing.
